Note: THATCamp will begin at 10am on Friday, March 28. If you’re driving, we recommend allowing about 15-20 minutes to get your parking pass, park your car, and make your way to the Hunt library. A light breakfast and lunch will be served. See you soon!
Directions from Chapel Hill and Durham
Take I-40 east towards Raleigh. Exit Gorman Street. Turn left at light. Take Gorman Street to Avent Ferry Road. Turn right. Take Avent Ferry Road to Varsity Drive. Turn right. Full-day visitor parking passes are available for $5 at the information booth just ahead. Information booth staff can provide parking maps and directions to the appropriate parking lots.
After parking, make your way to the Hunt library, which is located at 1070 Partners Way. Once inside the library, take the yellow staircase or the elevator to the second floor, and enter the multipurpose room in the Institute for Emerging Issues, which is located at the top of the yellow staircase.
From Downtown Raleigh
Take S. Blount Street to Martin Luther King Blvd. Turn right (going west). Take MLK Blvd. until it turns into Western Blvd. Turn left at light onto Avent Ferry Rd. Turn left at light onto Varsity Drive. Full-day visitor parking passes are available for $5 at the information booth just ahead. After receiving your parking pass, follow the directions above.
From Wilmington, North Carolina
Take I-40 north towards Raleigh. Follow signs for I-40 west at split. Exit right onto Lake Wheeler Drive. Turn left on Centennial Pkwy. Turn left at light onto Avent Ferry Rd. Turn left at light onto Varsity Drive. Full-day visitor parking passes are available for $5 at the information booth just ahead. After receiving your parking pass, follow the directions above.
